The cold rolled steel is manufactured based on hot-rolled steel and rolling at room temperature and under the recrystallization temperature .
General features
1.It has good durability, comparing with galvanized steel ,it has longer life .
2.It has good heat resistance, compared with galvanized steel at high temperature ,it is less likely to become angry.
3.It has good thermal reflectivity.
4.It has silver surface.
5.It has some similar processing performance and spraying performance with galvanized steel
6.It has good welding performance.
Production technology 。
Because it not heated in the production process, so there is no pitting and tin oxide in the surface. Also it has good surface quality, high degree of finish. And the size of the cold rolled products has high precision, its performance and organization can satisfy some special requirements, such as electromagnetic performance, deep drawing performance, etc.

It mainly adopts low carbon steel grades, which requires good cold bending and welding performance, and certain stamping performance as well as .
Application fields
The cold rolled steel plates and belt have widely application , such as automotive manufacturing, electrical appliances, vehicles, aerospace, precision instrument, canned of food, etc. Cold rolled steel sheet is short for ordinary carbon structural steel , it also been known as manufacture, and it commonly known as the cold plate.Also sometimes it is written as cold plate mistakenly. Cold plate is made of common carbon structural steel hot-rolled steel , after further made from cold rolled steel plate to form thickness is less than 4 mm. Due to rolling at room temperature, and it do not produce iron oxide, therefore, the surface quality of cold plate is good , and the size has high precision. coupled with annealing treatment, the mechanical performance and the performance is better than that of the hot rolled sheet steel. So in many fields, especially in home appliance manufacturing areas, has been gradually replace the hot rolled steel.
